Nicholas marched into the chamber all set to tell her what a fool she was and still is. However that line of thought perished out of his mind at the sight of her standing over by the table. He froze for a second to take in a sight he never thought he would witness as her pale as the moon face turned. Her cheeks were wet from the tears; lips trembling. It seemed as if she could hardly speak. She didn't need to say a word for he figured it out all soon enough.
