Just listen to the song and ignore the rest of the writing. Sappy mode.It seems the festive fragrance has gotten the best of me; but I don't regret it one bit for once.
Some people tend to sum up everything on the last day of the year. I was one of those summing up everything that has happened over the course of a year on the morning of December 31 for years prior to this one, but I went off ahead and made a change.
A change by rounding up the entire year as I sat surrounded by the people I've come to respect, admire and even love a little. If I were to compare it to 2013 this one turned out better than I could have ever imagined. Of course, difficulties were present. Tears were shed, but at the end of it all: lessons were learned. Strength has been gained. A lot of good things happened. A lot of memories were created: the sort of that will never fail to bring a smile whenever the mind recalls them. To a great deal I owe this to the people I've met, friends ( both old and new ), watchers, to the opportunities given, chances taken.
Told you it's sappy.
I dearly hope you all had wonderful Christmas. That you spent it with your loved ones. That you had loads of laughter. That quarrels, if there were any prior to it, have ended and that you enter 2015 with as less burden as possible. I have only to wish you happy new year. May all of your wishes come true.
To those who have yet to celebrate it I wish you a merry one and loads of peace, love and everything good. Happy new 2015.
Let's see what will it bring.
